Pink Competition Cards!

Here's 3 cards that I entered into a forum competition , the theme was pink (I of course found it really hard to make pink cards lol!) but the twist was that you had to use brads, peel offs (eek!) or vellum! It was an extra point for each extra item used!

I had to dust down the vellum and peel off's as I don't really use them!

My favourite is the top card using my lovely new cupcake stamp from Stamp addicts... I'm really into cupcakes at the moment, it's a special card made for my friend who I travel to work on the trains with every day she's going back to shift work next week, it's going to be strange not seeing her on the train :(

1. If a movie was being made of your life who would you like to be cast to play yourself? And why?
Renee Zellweger – I like her as an actress but if you’ve seen Bridget Jones Dairy the scene where she goes off for a weekend with yummy Hugh Grant in the open top car and arrives at the hotel very windswept… well that’s normally me LOL!

2. You are spending a whole month on a desert island for charity and you have to choose your favourite celebrity to spend the first two weeks with & your least favourite celebrity to spend the second two weeks with, who would they be & why?
Favourite: hmmm Johnny Depp.. well I have to have some eye candy and I’m sure he’s got plenty of stories to tell… he can be my pirate any day!!! LOL

Least Favourite: Do I have to chose someone?! Couldn’t I just pick another favourite… OK least favourite would be Heather Mills.. she’s been quite vocal recently and I really find her annoying!

3. What are your three favourite crafting products?
My stamp collection (OK slightly cheating but I can’t chose one stamp lol!), my cuttlebug and my guillotine

4. If you could invent something to do anything what do you think it would be?
A self-replenishing bank account!

5. What are the last three books that you read?

6. QVC or create & Craft?
I don’t buy from either but if there’s a craft day on QVC I’ll window shop!

My Father in Law to be is a well-respected Jack The Ripper expert & Author.

And my stupid claim to fame is I fell over once and Christopher Biggins helped me up and offered to take me to the local coffee shop for a coffee but air head here declined the offer very politely as she doesn’t like coffee!! :)

Circle Journal... About Me!

Well today I've been a very good crafting girl and actually spent most of the day playing with my Ally Pally stash and playing with my old stash as I have set a challenge on the craft forum I go on to make cards using old stash!!!! I feel knackered now as I've been on the go since 7am this morning in my craft room... looks like a bombs hit it though lol!

It's been a long time since I've managed a LO... I've found this one quite hard... I know the subject of 'me' should be a fairly easy one but I lack confidence and really struggle with doing something so personal... but I have to say I am really pleased with it! :)
I'm loving my new arrow set of stamps I bought, searched the whole of Ally Pally for an arrow stamp and found this set last thing!

As to the Use Old stash challenge, I pulled out one of my favourite alphabet sets from A Muse the clear polka dot set and Hero Arts peeking posies flower set of 4 stamps... These stamps were a must have when they came out and although I love them both they have been quite neglected recently!

Scallop Card Challenge

The challenge this week on a forum I go on is Make a Card With A Scallop, this is what I came up with... I love my scalloped nestabilities but I was determind not to use them this time as it's all I seem to use at the moment and my cards get too samey!

The Stamped image is a Tilda, she's sitting in a frame. To cut the frame I used my square nestabilities and a magnetic sheet to keep them in place to cut. Embossed the frame using the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder which is currently my favourite folder!
