Copic Spica Glitter Pens

No cards to show today... having a bit of a 'fed up with the cards I'm making' stage... I'm sure I'll get out of it the way I got into it just feel like I need a charge of direction...

Anyway I wanted to pop up a post regarding the Copic Spica Glitter Pens... I've had a number of emails asking where I bought mine from so thought I'd let you all know!

I bought mine from Ebay from this seller below, very reasonable price and postage to the UK was cheap and quick... as far as I am aware you can't buy them in the UK yet!

If you don't know what these pens are... let me tell you again!

I read about them and because I love glitter thought I'd give them a go!The clear is totally clear, leaving only a lovely sparkle behind, unlike Sakura’s Clear Stardust Gelly Roll pen which has a silvery colour with not much sparkle.

The main difference in the Spica glitter pen is that the sparkle is actually made up of micro glass flakes and they claim that they have twice the writing length of other pens. There are 12 colours to collect but the clear is great is my favourite you can even add sparkle on over the top of your coloured image.

You must keep these pens stored horizontal and you mustn't drop them!

If you like glitter you'll love these pens!!

Hoppy Easter!

Just wanted to wish you all that visit my blog a Happy Easter! Sorry I've not been about much recently, Fiance had a car accident last Monday, luckily for us he was fine but the car was not! It's been a stressful week for us as we've had to go car shopping and when you don't have a car you start to appreciate how much you need it! All being well we will get our new car next friday... I think it's going to be a long week!!!
It's my birthday tomorrow.... yippeee! Hoping to have one or two crafty items, I've had loads of cards!!... Might be a white birthday too judging by the weather reports!
Hope you all have a lovely easter and don't eat too much choccie!! :)

My First Tilda Card

This is my first tilda card using my new watercolour pens! Probably not the best example on these pens but I am in love with them.

The pens are called ZIG Memory Brushables, they have two brush tips. Each pen has a light and a dark of the colour so shading is made really easy.

We watched the demo at Stamp Addicts and were amazed at how easy she made it look and we were hooked! Stamp addicits sell them each but you can buy them in packs of 4. Bee Crafty currently have them on at a good offer of £6.70 per pack.

Talking of my love of pens my other recent buy is a clear Copic Spica Glitter Pen... have you heard or seen these?! I read about them and because I love glitter thought I'd give them a go!

The clear is totally clear, leaving only a lovely sparkle behind, unlike Sakura’s Clear Stardust Gelly Roll pen which has a silvery colour with not much sparkle. The main difference in the Spica glitter pen is that the sparkle is actually made up of micro glass flakes and they claim that they have twice the writing length of other pens. There are 12 colours to collect but the clear is great for wings (as above) or even adding on over the top of your coloured image. Have I talked you into buying one yet?! :)

Stevenage Stash

Only a week late lol... ooops I've been a bit up and down this week, think I've come down with some sort of virus :( It seems to come and go... anyway here's my goodies from last week at Stevenage, I had a fantastic time!

I did quite well.. hmm as you can see I bought one or two stamps... I spent more than I took (oops) but I blame the two Clare's that I went with for that as I had £5.00 left and then we went back to the Stamp Addicts to ask about blending pens, which we had bought at Ally Pally.. had to have one but then neither of us could remember how to use them lol... anyway we ended up coming away buying some of these watercolouring pens after watching the demo... I bought 10 watercolour pens (oops I forgot to take the piccies of these) and 2 stamps...

I've tried these new pens out and I am in love with them... I can't stop colouring in stamped images... not made many cards but I have loads of images coloured lol!
